What is tokyo ghoul sezon 2?

Tokyo Ghoul season 2 is a continuation of the dark fantasy anime series that follows the story of a young man named Kaneki who becomes a half-ghoul after a brutal encounter with a powerful ghoul. In season 2, Kaneki is forced to choose sides and join one of the two warring groups of ghouls as the battle for dominance over Tokyo's underworld intensifies. Meanwhile, new characters are introduced, new alliances are formed, and the already complex worlds of humans and ghouls collide even further. The season consists of 12 episodes and originally aired in Japan from January to March 2015.
